Gino Villaceran:

Giancarlo Villaceran (Gino) is an empathetic filmmaker and videographer who does his best to bring stories to light with the utmost care. To him, no shot is impossible and is always willing to push the boundary of what seems out of reach. Despite being more reserved than most, he loves to open up to others to make them comfortable in front of a camera in search of those hidden stories. He’s always willing to go out of his way to assist others with their problems mentally or technically.

Gino has worked on several short documentaries collaborating with CBC and short films with his friends and students, along with creating a social media presence known as “Guitar Guru” to pursue and share his musical interests.

He also has a certificate of completion in Film and Media from the Sisler CREATE post-high program of 2022-23 and is the First recipient of the Mitchell White scholarship presented by IATSE 856. Currently, he is studying at RRC Polytech in the Digital Film and Media Production class to further advance his skills and learn in hopes of being a part of the industry.
